"That will probably be the Twinings classic Green Tea?
Do see her point on that one-the Liptons stuff is weak-as is their "normal" tea!"

I am from Sri Lanka - I have given up drinking tea 'cos cannot find any good tea here! The best is exported -:-(

When we go to Thailand, we take Kangaroo meat, usually 5 Kg.

There is more than that including conterfeit goods and pirated items. See the Thai Customs website for more details:

Re: Going to Thailand on Sunday can i take.

I remember seeing a big box at customs at BKK airport with a bunch of cigarettes at the bottom. the sign said something like "if you have more than one carton, drop the rest here".
also, another sign said something like personal effects you take along should not be worth more than 10,000. (if you follow David's link above, that description says so as well.) I admit my crappy travel gear is probably not beyond this mark, but a businessman coming for a conference and dragging along an assortment of suits and neckties should be paying, or what? never looked up or thought about it but I don't get it.
